The AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course is designed for registered nurses and physicians who have completed a basic of foundations FHM course and who use fetal monitoring technology in the intrapartum perinatal setting. It is expected that the participant has a basic knowledge and related skills.
This course is only offered to the Northwestern/Evanston/Lurie Perinatal Network which includes: Central DuPage, Condell, Delnor, Evanston, Good Shepherd, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Northwest Community, Northwestern Memorial, Swedish, Vista, & West Suburban Hospitals.

- Complete the online registration form. After submitting your online form, you will receive an email communication with a payment link.
- Submit your registration fee asap as a confirmation is not secure until payment is received.
- Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and teacher to student ratio is set by AWHONN at 1:6 participants. Class size is limited, register early.
- Confirmation will be emailed, once a completed registration is received (online registration and registration fees).
- You are required to purchase your own Intermediate Course Student Materials (7th Edition) and bring to class.
- Books cannot be shared as there is a unique workshop number identified in each book.
- Pre-work opens online and participants will have access 30-days prior to complete.
- Pre-work must be completed 72 hours prior to the in-person course.
- If pre-work is not completed, you will not be able to attend the course and fees will not be refunded.
